ABOUT ME
FREELANCE JOURNALIST +
ASSOCIATE EDITOR @ PEOPLE MAGAZINE
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I am a journalist based in Brooklyn, New York, currently working as an Associate Editor at PEOPLE Magazine.
Prior to joining PEOPLE, I was a writer at InStyle Magazine; before that, I was a lifestyle writer on the branded content team at Refinery29. Before that, I worked at Milk Studios as a writer and editor from 2016-2019. I also moonlight as a brand strategist and copywriter -- if you’d like to see a portfolio of recent client work, please email me.
In 2024, I earned a master’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from the CUNY Graduate Center, where I also served as the 2023-24 Communications Fellow for CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies.
In 2025, the first chapter of my novel-in-progress was short-listed by guest judge Alejandro Heredia in CRAFT’s annual First Chapters Contest.
Finally, I also serve as a volunteer at the Lesbian Herstory Archives, where I’m currently working on the Lesbian Elders Oral Herstory Project.
